MICRONEEDLING

Rejuvenate skin including fine lines and skin discolorations

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin resurfacing treatment aimed at treating signs of aging and improving the appearance of your face. This process is also often referred to as collagen induction therapy.

Over time, our bodies lose the ability to create collagen and elastin, the two components that help keep our skin firm, smooth, and supple. In the microneedling process, the micro-injuries created by microneedling pen to help to activate and release growth factors that lead to the rebuilding of collagen and elastin in the skin.

Microneedling is great for skin rejuvenation and reduces wrinkles, improves texture and tone, and reveals softer, younger skin with fewer signs of aging. It can also treat acne scars, sun damage, and even stretch marks (say goodbye to those red streaks that appeared after your last pregnancy!) and can be done anywhere on the body!

What are the benefits of Microneedling?

The benefits of our collagen induction therapy include:Minimal to no downtime, repairs DNA damage, increases skin’s thickness up to 80% and works with your bodies natural repair system to fix skin concern.

How often should I be treated?

Clients will see significant results in one session. If you want to build on your results, we recommend 3-6 sessions depending on your age and the severity of skin condition you are wanting to treat.

You should allow one month of recovery time in between each Microneedling session. After one month of healing, additional treatments may be suggested per each client’s needs presented as necessary.

After Treatment Expectations

There is little downtime associated with Microneedling but most feel some tenderness afterwards. This sensation may feel like a windburn or sunburn because of the micro trauma caused to the dermal layer. Every client is different, but this sensation typically lasts about 1-2 days and may be accompanied by redness and dryness, but there is no reason for concern. It is common to see additional redness on thin areas like the neck. The client should avoid direct sun exposure for at least 48 hours and wear SPF daily. We highly suggest waiting to apply makeup until the next day. Each client should be advised to clean makeup brushes and products prior to makeup application with 90% isopropyl alcohol that can be purchased at any grocery or drug store and reminded that just like any area of the body where a healing response has been triggered, keeping the area clean is crucial to healing.
